Thanks so much to everyone who participated in our 6th annual Barn Dance and Silent Auction Fundraiser on September 13, 2014 at Ridgeview Valley! Your support of this event greatly and directly benefits the children we serve through our mentoring program in Garrett County! We had a delightful, fun, fall evening! We offered our 240 guests in attendance a chicken and rib dinner by Catering by the Champions, dancing to the sounds of DJ Jonny Rock, line-dancing by Terry Whalen and Horse Drawn Carriage Rides by Pleasant Valley Dream Rides. We provided a a cash beer and wine tent as well as a delicious dessert table for our guests. Our Silent Auction included several items and gift cards donated by merchants and residents and we raffled off a 47″ VIZIO HDTV and gave away lots of great door prizes! With the support of the Garrett County community (and beyond!) we had our most successful barn dance event yet, raising a record amount for the children we serve through mentoring! Thanks to all who attended and to all who sponsored, donated or helped in some other way.
