We would like to thank The GFWC Civic Club of Oakland, Maryland, Inc. for their generous donation to our organization. The Civic club has given proceeds from the 2014 Autumn Glory Antique Show not only to our organization, but to many other wonderful causes in our community as well. We will be specifically using this donation for our 2015 holiday party at Wisp Resort for the children in our program! This is a very special event for the apx. 100 Garrett County children who will be in our program at that time and it has become a beloved holiday tradition for them. Thank you so much to the GFWC Civic Club of Oakland, Maryland, Inc. for supporting our Prek to grade 6 children who benefit from the committed, positive adult role models offering support and guidance in the form of lunchtime mentoring and other planned bonding experiences with their mentors like this annual holiday event.
